Wild Flowerbed in Shore Road

WRA are representing to the Council that the flowerbed at the top of Shore Road has been left to a poor state of repair ----21/03/08 Cllr Evans has contacted local residents to say that, following one further treatment, the plan is to resow by the strip by the end of April!

Pedestrian Crossing, Warsash Village

For some time residents have desired a crossing in Warsash Road, in the village centre. NEWS SOON?

The Shore at Warsash

The signage into the car park in front of the Rising Sun has now been improved.

The general state of the shore at this point is poor and we would like to see this symbol of Warsash improved, to that end WRA have applied for C.A.T.S. funding to improve the area

Warsash Speeding traffic

WRA are discussing with Councillors how to progress the problems of speeding drivers in Warsash Road, Newtown Road and Brook Lane.

Peters Road housing development

WRA is tracking this planning. Outline brief is approved, detailed plans probably coming in 2008. Scrub Clearance now underway see photographs

Locks Heath Centre, Redevelopment Plans

Locks Heath Centre: WRA is tracking the planning proposals; Permission has been refused on both the fast-food outlet and the additional shops for reasons of design; the car park change and the extension are, by inference accepted. An appeal has been lodged and closing date for representation is fast approaching

Link Road- Warsash Motors site

Work has now started on the road to link Warsash Road to the Boats Estate, relieving pressure on traffic through Schooner Way

Coldeast Development Site

The WRA has been keenly monitoring the housing development plans at the Coldeast Hospital site. Part of those plans include the building of 250 homes in the first phase and a community hospital by 2010

Chilling and Brownwich Gravel Extraction

Latest position of the WRA who are supporting local campaign group CAMEL in opposing the prospective selection of our local area for quarry purposes.
